The following is a summary of incidents in Gaithersburg to which the Montgomery County Police and/or Gaithersburg Police responded recently. The words "arrested" and "charged" do not imply guilt.
Burglary
ÔOn Nov. 2 between 6:56 a.m. and 7:11 a.m., at South Lake Elementary School, 18201 Contour Road in Montgomery Village. No signs of forced entry, nothing taken.
Armed robbery
ÔOn Oct. 30, at the Homestead Suites on Research Boulevard in Rockville. An argument escalated between relatives when one threatened the other with a razor. The suspect was located and arrested.
ÔOn Oct. 31 at 10:20 p.m., near the park in the 10400 block of Stedwick Road in Montgomery Village. Two juvenile males were approached by a group of five males wearing white masks and black hooded sweatshirts. One suspect produced a knife and held it to the victim's chest. They obtained cash and fled.
Peeping tom
ÔOn Oct. 30 around 7:40 p.m., in the 10300 block of Watkins Mill Drive in Gaithersburg The resident saw the suspect on a ladder looking into his home and chased him off. The suspect was described as male, black windbreaker, blue jeans, white sneakers with black writing.
Strong-arm robbery
ÔOn Nov. 1 at 10:45 p.m., at Chuck E. Cheese, 516 N. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg. An employee was walking to his vehicle when three suspects dressed in dark clothing and Halloween masks with white lines under the eyes, assaulted him. One of the suspects demanded money. All three suspects fled on foot.
ÔOn Oct. 31 around 4:15 p.m., outside the McDonalds, 19388 Montgomery Village Ave., Montgomery Village. The 15-year-old-male victim was approached by two suspects who demanded his cell phone and began assaulting him. Both fled toward Brassie Place. Suspect No. 1 was described as a black male, 15-17, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 130-140 pounds, black afro in a ponytail, black winter coat. No description on second suspect.
Vehicle larceny
Ô17100 block of Queen Victoria Court in Gaithersburg, between 10 p.m. on Oct. 28 and 7:00 a.m. on Oct. 29. Unlocked vehicle, car stereo taken.
Ô9600 block of Marathon Circle in Gaithersburg, on Oct. 30. Forced entry, satellite stereo taken.
Ô15300 block of Gable Ridge Court in Gaithersburg, on Oct. 30. Forced entry, passenger side door removed.

Commercial burglary
ÔBrighton Beer & Wine, 225 Muddy Branch Road, Gaithersburg at 3:15 a.m. on Nov. 3. Officers responding to the alarm found the burglary. Forced entry, property taken.
Residential burglary
Ô9900 block of Shelburne Terrace in Gaithersburg, between 11:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 30. Forced entry, property taken.
Ô200 block of West Deer Park Road in Gaithersburg, between 1:30 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. on Oct. 28. Forced entry, nothing taken.
Ô400 block of Russell Avenue in Gaithersburg, between Oct. 26 and Oct. 29. No signs of forced entry, property taken.
Ô1300 block of Travis View Court in Gaithersburg, on Nov. 3. Forced entry, property taken. The two male suspects also stole a vehicle using keys they took during the burglary. That vehicle was found on nearby Wake Forest Drive.
Ô200 block of Meadowgate Terrace in Gaithersburg, between 11:45 p.m. on Nov. 1 and 3 a.m. on Nov. 2. Forced entry, property taken.
Ô8200 block of Hedge Apple Way in Gaithersburg, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Oct. 30. Forced entry, property taken.
